The United Cup is a brand new ATP and WTA combined event that was held for the first time in 2023. It will replace the ATP Cup, which was played between 2020 and 2022.
The 3rd edition of the tournament will start the 2025 tennis season and will be held in two Australian cities: Perth and Sydney.

The United Cup 2025 tennis event will begin on 27 Dec 2024 and end on 5 January 2025 in Australia.
The three other tennis tournaments will also take place during the same week: Hong Kong, Brisbane, and Auckland
In the 2025 United Cup, a total of 18 nations will play in Australia. The six countries' qualification is based on the ranking of their top player in the ATP rankings, six on the ranking of their top player in the WTA rankings, and six on the best ranking of their top men's and women's players.
Australia will automatically qualify as the host country, no matter how well their best players are ranked. These 18 countries have been confirmed to take part in the first tournament.

The 18 countries will be divided into six groups of three, and each of the three host cities will host two groups.
Two singles matches and one mixed doubles match will be played in the day session of each group match, while two singles matches and one doubles match will be played in the night session.
The two semifinalists will play in the 2025 United Cup final.
The 18 teams were divided into 6 groups of three in Brisbane, Perth, and Sydney on November 10, 2022.

The entire prize pool for 2025 will be $10,000,000; however, the breakdown of the money is not yet decided.
It depends on their performance; players will get up to 500 ranking points.
