The 2024 China Open is an ATP and WTA combined tennis event played on outdoor hard courts in Beijing, China. For men's, it will be the 23rd edition, and for women's, it will be the 25th edition. The China Open men’s event belongs to the ATP 500 on the ATP Tour schedule, and the women’s event belongs to the WTA 1000 on the WTA Tour schedule. The tournament, which had previously been hosted in Beijing from 1993 to 1997, was first contested in its present format in 2004 as a back-to-back event for four years. It originally evolved into a combined event in 2008.
